^^^ Beautiful Vitus.
One can only imagine the flex on the front end.
What flex? First someone says it's not as stiff and a couple of comments later people start thinking it's made of rubber? This is stupid. As far as I know it's as stiff and tough as it was suppose to be in those days.

I've ridden a couple of vitus' and a couple of other bonded alu and carbon frames from that period. They're not exactly stiff by today's standards. In fact I'd consider them quite compliant. With a headtube as short as that, I wouldn't be surprised if the lowpro wasn't a bit rubbery..

I have a 979. The term 'wet noodle' has been used before.
I would imagine the pursuit has even more flex due to the fulcrum at the head tube. (might be wrong)
Just sayin'
