  • probably been answered elsewhere, but why does it have mounts for bottle cages?

I wish more bikes had mounts for bottle cages. It always gives you the option of putting in a really low profile screw and it can hardly be seen. Maybe even if the hole was plugged and initially painted over like the Cinelli Mash forks.

There's nothing more unsightly than ziptied bottle cages, or less convenient/functional than behind the saddle bottle mounts.

Most bikes do. Track bikes don't.

  • Steel ones, in old-school diameters. They were keen on Deda EOM16.5 and SAT14.5 a few years ago, before that mostly Reynolds 531 and 653.

Thanks, for the infos. You really helped me out.

    Could use magnets...

  • Does anyone know which tubing set Condor has used, for this gorgeous track frame?

    Best bike. Ever

  • Can we give it some sort of award?

  • An onion (presented by E Scoble).

  • Yes we should

  • Why is it the best? because of the pink valve cap?

  • better search for an onion ed

    Pink?

  • ...pink valve cap?

    Euph?

Ahh ta, I can remember someone was selling it a couple months ago, but I couldn't find it anymore. The tubing is probably Columbus Spirit, when I take a closer look at the frame. I can't repeat it often enough, such a nice frame.

  • Posted in our plastic bikes thread but thought I'd share...

  • Lovely frame, but a messy choice of components and too many red bits. Hubs, headset and seatpost clamp would have been plenty.

    Chainset is fugly too.

    • flip stem & remove spacers comment ( yet again )

    0* stem no?

  • Nearly a great looking bike.

I'd wait till it's finished before putting it in here though.

  • 0* stem no?

Looks more like around 6% to me?

Does neither of you have a degree? It's 6° or 84°, depending on how you like to measure.

  • Does neither of you have a degree?

Ha, I should have expected that!

And after staring vacantly at my cheapo keyboard; it would appear that I don't :-(
