It has couplers, maybe just a case of if it were any bigger it wouldn't fit in it's case?
not a bad shout but i've seen quite a few custom frames built in the same way so not sure - pretty sure a 60 with s&s still fits in the box? - amateurs ;)

Pretty funny that you say that.
You'd think the builder would know his own bike size.
or is good at building bikes but ignorant to bike design history?

Any less seatpost and the stem would have to be slammed.* The cable hanger doesn't help this situation – which could have gone on the fork really.
*assuming the photographed setup is right for the owner.

Same bike? Saddle height looks fine to me, and like already said probably built that way to create some bar to drop with that cable pull

first full of post on a horizontal tt bike - a rule as old as the hills! you can get a away with a little more or less but too much and it starts looking a mtb from the 90's
pet hate of mine when you see these custom bikes with odd seat post heights, ugly layback posts when it could be corrected in the frame design or too many headset spacers
- no issue on everyday bikes but why spend 1k+ when you could have bought an OTP? the answer is more money than sense or a newbie imho
if however this particular bike is an exception and for some elaborate medical or personal reason the owner has to have more than normal seat post showing then fine - but for me it's no longer an admirable build
Surely you should question the frame builders that should know better

There's no real beef.

edited because of dissatisfaction
This is bloody close to my bike. Yet I think it looks bloody nasty.
(Note to self - Do not buy yellow decaled wheels.)
-
• #71136
I wasn't sure if you'd bought different wheels for a minute.
Then I realise it's way too big! ;)

That BMC's a real melon scratcher. On paper, it should look good, and yet it's definitely a bit off. Losing the wheel decals and going for black tape would almost save it I reckon.
-
• #71138
The only time that would look good is ridden by cuddles while in the yellow.
Otherwise, follow the time immune, keep it simple stupid mantra. -

Love this bike... can't remember who's it is (forum bike no?) but real understated class.
Sorry if I missed something, foruming with only one eye while at work (other is on work things).

I'm not going to pretend my BMCs not anti in many ways. All my bikes have dodgey asthetics TBH. But even with moooaaaar colour coordination it doesnt manage to out ugly the one above. Those wheels have a lot to answer for.
This is both readers wife, and a repost. Probably racist too.
meh.

That's an easy fix.
Black saddle, black bartape, keo blades and you're good to go.

The fact yours doesn't have the tanwalls and has black calipers amongst other things makes it look considerably nicer. The yellow hoods would be the only thing I'd be griping over if it was mine. Very hawt bike.

Poor cabling and bartape, front wheel the wrong way round, modern black pedals out of place, rider too big for it. Annoying because otherwise it's quite nice.

suit yourself, calling somebody a fucking twat because he posted a picture of a bike you have already seen once or twice is retarded, and guaranteed, will get you the same abuse back. plus, if it wasnt for him and two or three more guys, these threads would be dead to most of people.
you dont like reposts, fair enough, put the guy on ignore.
otherwise just fucking swallow it, and/or think twice before you post.
