Would it help if I told you the Kalloy saddle clamp is a copy of Campag C-Record? It's actually a really good design, probably the best 1-bolt post out there if your idea of a good post is one that holds your saddle exactly where you want it, permanently.

On the other hand, the Bianchi's front rim has been knackered by brake use, so it belongs in functional bike for that (and the merely functional seat post)

It also appears to be fitted with reasonably fat clinchers. Some gumwall tubs would be more pretty.
