I know brakes are sensible, but I think fixie skidder/tarck bikes need to have brakless™ installed to be porn.

Having a brake on it is like porn with durex, just not as good.

My everyday hack has discs and the level of control and power available is awesome and for everyday use, I totally agree with you.
