Not really bike porn till you notice the gorgeous Brooks champion swallow saddle
How did this 60s saddle end up here?

I went through all 211 images
The green bike behind it is his 'righty' project...that was an interesting one to follow the progress of.

Not really bike porn
So what's it doing here?
How did this 60s saddle end up here?
How did a 1960s saddle end up on a 1970s bike? Well, it will come as a surprise to 12 year olds like you, but in the olden days we used to keep things which still had a useful life, and re-use them over a period of years.

It's a bit like me using a 15yr old Selle Italie Flite on a 2009 Giant TCR. It's comfortable, why change

especially things as saddles that form to your arse and after a decade of riding you don't want anything else no matter how ugly it may be

Brilliant feature, headset hangers always give you low-radius outer bends if you run without your stem up in the air.
Shame I now have a V-brake.

Yes, I worked that out shortly after posting, comment withdrawn.

Brilliant feature.
No better than the cheap Tektro hanger, and you can re-sell the Tektro one when you switch to mini-V/disc

Shame that a v-brake is way better than a cantilever and doesn't even need the extra part welding to the fork.
ftfy.

If it isn't pretty close to the ideal functional solution (and it certainly isn't), it falls at the first hurdle by my definition of bike porn.
