Whats with the bashing of DW - hes always been extremely helpfull and informative, and if i recall it was just because he said he didnt like Pistanator's (which to be fair is a Love/hate build, and one that i like a lot) bike that this all kicked off - and putting your bike on the internet is asking for not only compliments but also negative views, like when i posted up my Lavorro - the guy is one of the worlds top framebuilders, and a living legend in the US for running the North American Hand Builts Bike Show . . .

Lets just say I can't make everyone happy with my graphics. I've had it simple and people complained. I went a different direction and got the same feedback. So now, my 3rd effort gets the same level of dissatisfaction.

If my graphics keep you from buying one of my bikes, then you will never know what a great riding bike they are. Buy a bike from someone who is more "hip" than I.

Its the design, geometry and craftsmanship, not the graphics that make a bike what it is.

I suppose it's good marketing, "hey I got a bike build by a Scottish person who live here in America!", and wearing a kilt to strengthen that, great marketing there Don, I suppose it's one way to stand out from the other frame builder.

Remind me of the time I went to America and everytime I talk to someone, they somewhat went "ooh so you're Engrish! talk British to me!", I suppose even a bloke from Swindon sound exotic to the American (not that I am from Swindon, it's merely an example).

But that's the point, when confronted about his Scottish ancestory it seems that he was born in America(never even been to Scotland), his parents were born in America(never even been to Scotland), his grandparents were born in America yet his great grandfather was born in a small Scottish village that he doesn't even know the name of!
Yet he still parades around in a stupid fuckin kilt and drinks whiskey and adorns his bikes with 'his' family tartan!? Fucked up!
