on the small side though.
Ha! Says the author of Big Beautiful Bikes :D

Another small one sorry. I hope it's not the case, but can't help feeling the Enve and Sram components are wasted on that frame.
-
• #56004
probably a custom built frame, so can warrant nice parts
-
• #56005
It's not a custom frame. I suppose if you can afford the bits and love the frame it's worth it, know what you mean though.

As ninja graphics go, that SRAM logo fails at subtlety.
ENVE logo also looks bad when small.
Bad light = bad photo = bad photographer.

Looks damn nice to me!
Do you think the groupset's wasted performance wise or aesthetically? -
• #56008
Love this colour with the silver and white, any idea which RAL?
-
• #56009
Actually it may well be custom, I have no real idea! I had always assumed because it was a "Team USA II" it meant literally made for a team, but it's just the name they give the frames, and he got that one new so...

That last page went all to hell... it's just the internet, look at the pictures then move on...
On that note...

Do you think the groupset's wasted performance wise or aesthetically?Performance wise. 'Wasted' is the wrong word, just you can imagine it being more effective on a newer carbon frame.
There is something nice though about taking a half decent frame and really going to town on it. like so much stuff in this thread, practicality is no concern for porn. -

ah well, but still kinda fail because those tyres will last about 2 mins under skidding
-
• #56014
Why do you need to skid on a brakeless bicycle?
-
• #56015
because all the other cool kids are doing it
-
• #56016
To draw attention to how few brakes you have?

because I'm too lazy to stop properly
That is indeed true.

If you can afford that sc pista, replacing a $40 rear tire is the least of your worries.
-
• #56022
Also you know that 'fixie slows down by effective use of back force on the pedals' just doesn't have the same ring to it as 'fixie skidder'

whats going on with the top of the headset? Non-orignal forks so the thread is longer so they put spacers?
I am hardly a new member. Who ever you are.
Mostly they are all good. The no taste comment was me getting fed up of you slating anyone elses Bike Porn posts then posting bikes that for me just look like photoshopped cartoons. Had the photos been taken outside I may well have seen them in a different light. All the Moots you keep on posting are fucking sweet.
Meh, they differ.
I genraly dont like track bikes with risers but that one looks sweet. It looks like it gets ridden and I like it.
The Baums are just a little over the top for me (and seeing as I own an Argon18 wich is well over the top and really not a pretty bike is an odd statement). They are all carbon rim in my opinion. I can however see that a lot of people would like them.
