Also Ed has completely proven to me that I do not like any IF builds. They're not bikes, they're Jewellery – which is fine but not my thing. I'll stop moaning now.

Was build before giving to the customer.

The Spooky road frames just look like the standard 'training' frames LBSs get made for them. Am I missing something?
They rival the CAADs, as amazing alu frames. But built with a focus on stiffness, and handling, and thus popular with crit riders. Which is very much to my taste, plus they are a boutique brand, and therefore apeal to bike snobs like myself that little bit more than Dales.
They are porn to me, when the build mirrors the intention of the frame. But that thompson fecks things up big time.

they're a bit fussy looking. The 29ers are sweet though.

Is that Colnago a time trial frame? Check the brake mount behind the fork crown. Interesting.

Prolly's new Icarus frame. Thought I'd get it in here quickly before he paints it some god awful colour scheme or ruins it with a nasty build.
-
• #54846
the build is not going to be that nasty, i think
i'm nly not sure of the wheels though - what is he using? -

I've no idea. To be fair, all the parts he's posted so far look good and I guess he may be keeping it raw. I'm being overly harsh; judging him based on his Geekhouse touring thing. Functional and to his tastes maybe, but considering the work that went into it, how much it (should?) have cost and his collaboration with the builders/suppliers it looked like he'd pulled it out of a skip.

Probable repost but I haven't seen it and it's on topic for this page... -
