How long will MDCC take?
A couple of US Patent applications from just after that Orbea, for similarly pointless cush drives between crank and chainring

Once you have developed some proper isometric strength in your legs you won't rely on your body weight nearly as much.
So youll be really good at trackstanding?

looks really nice, but with short stem and bar like I wouldnt find riding brakeless fun. Wont be that stable putting weight on the front of the bike. Low gear though.
Nice to see one bike from Beijing make it into this thread.

I disagree, but I suppose it depends upon which school of thought on the subject of karma you subscribe to.

With all the talk about parts not matching, I'm surprised nobody mentioned the rear brake cable routing on the Milwaukee cross bike being in the worst place possible.
I noticed that, just assumed it's more a CX inspired frame, to run a fixed cog but no more than a off-trail commute.

had exactly this chat about helix tubing on the 29er thread this weekend
http://www.lfgss.com/thread34855-43.html
smallfurry nailed it when he said they look like they have been crashed, and apart from lynskey's marketing department, no one else is convinced it makes the tubing stiffer
The stays look nice. Great little detail. If the Helix tube are so stiff and clever. Why does the R440 not have them?
I saw a custom Lynskey Pro 29er in a local MTB mag. It had a Helix downtube, but a standard (well curved for stanover) top tube. Looked so much better. Had an amazing paint job of tightly overlaping green leaves. Getting gradually more spread untill the front end was pure polished Ti. Proper porn. -

Is isometric a kind of strength? Genuine question.
This is the Japanese Tonic (comes with matching randwover). Truly a fantastic looking bike.

I love the way the base of the saddle, the top tube, and the stem look parallel to one another.
-
• #54371
yes that bike is epic win! would look 2% better with a flite and possibly black thomson.
-
• #54372
oh and gumwall tyres would finish it off perfect.
-
• #54373
Nah, no gumwall tyres. Flite will look nice!
