Getting a tailor made Chinook costs around £300 more, it would look better if it had a smaller seatpost agreed. The rest of your points are not valid.

With those pedals and a Thomson the Cervelo needs some attention, carbon keo blades and a pro vibe would be nicer, and maybe ominiums/black cranks...
I agree with you about the T1 in general though.

Well tentative first post but seemed as good a place as any to start, mmmm bike bits yummy, personally I think the Colagno posted by fatoldbloke is a beautiful example or retro yumminess and the wheels handlebars and saddle all compliment each other nicely :)
