repped
high five I was afraid it would be too subtle/people wouldn't read it again.
The general shape is 2012 Langster Pro
Maybe there's a proper S-Works version coming, or maybe they just painted up a Pro in S-Works livery for marketing purposes.
Looks bad ass in black. The one in the link however, not so much. Let's hope they do an S-Works and it will look like this.

ugly.
coloured chain, logos everywhere, contrasting tubes and clusters, red bolts, white cables, blue tape.

Nitride coating ≠ coloured chain.

Very nice Raleigh Dyna Tech Pro with Campagnolo Chorus groupset in the rarer graphite finish. No marks on the crank arms from the chain unshipping too, so possibly NOS/nearly NOS components as the graphite finish had a reputation for chipping readily from normal usage. Campagnolo did also do the levers in graphite finish so I have to assume the owner has not been able to source them as yet or is unaware they were produced.
Matching handlebar tape too with the pebble dash paint finish.
The only things I would change is the angle of the saddle and possibly the pedals which do not look to be contemporaneous with the bike. I say 'possibly', because I can not quite tell what they are, but they do look to be about 10 years newer than the rest of the build.
Otherwise a very nice build which is a credit to the owner, using Raleigh frame technology which is frequently overlooked in favour of the gems that were produced by the SBDU at Ilkeston.
Wow, you're a guy who knows his retro velos! This is a mate of mine's bike. And you are spot on about the levers. It's hard to tell from the pics but these are the same graphite grey as the rest of the group and the whole bike is in fantastic condition considering it's age. This was rediculously cheap from eBay and apart from putting on his Keo pedals to give it a quick test run it is all original. It was custom built new in 1990 as it was only available as frameset only as Raleigh's flagship frameset. It's hard to find evidence of any real use.
He's getting all OCD with it now and has ordered a NOS seatpost (at great expense) to replace the one pictured as it's "slightly scuffed" and he's also just ordered some campagnolo rubber bungs to fit in the top of the hoods as one was missing. I suspect 1990 pedals are next on the agenda.
It's a size too small for him but would fit me like a glove. I'm working on it...
He has a bit of an obsession with bikes of this era and has a Raleigh Record Ace that he has polished back to as new condition, but I have to say this Dyna Tech Pro is in another league.

Did anyone mention anything about expense or rarity? You stupidly equated the chain to the kind of chain you'd get from that 'bike' place on Hackney road near Cambridge Heath road with their range of pastel colours. Given the recent nature of your posts maybe its time for a real life girlfriend?
One more thing: This ain't YOUR porn.

Relax, trying to offend me over the Internet makes you look like a prong.
All I did was mention tht that chain, being the colour it is, is ugly. Formally, the bike is ugly.
And plenty of bikes end up in here just because they're top of the line or hens-teeth rare..If you can't handle other people's opinions, perhaps you should get off the Internet?

I am relaxed thanks. Maybe you should read back over your own posts in this here thread and re-evaluate who comes across as a prong.

Grooves has a point. It's not obligatory to compulsively post a one line opinion on everything posted in every thread. Particularly if it's negative.
ugly.
coloured chain, logos everywhere, contrasting tubes and clusters, smushed chainring, red bolts, white cables, blue tape.
hideous.
