That frame is incredible though! - check out the seat tube/post. Custom fit fo shizzle -

The ISP on my Look could really do with being 20mm shorter but I refuse to take a saw to an expensive frame. ISP's suck and for that reason I'm out.

Without the fat tyres it is just a custom Ti fixed-wheel bike...

From their website: http://www.amarobikes.com/supermotarden.html
The reasons for the Supermotard are difficult to explain, because depending of the point of view, it can be the biggest absurdity or the biggest exponent of feelings in a bicycle. There's no compromise at all, the track geometries give an inmediate response (but no errors forgiven), the fixed gear transmission gives an unbeatable simbiosis with the bike, and both aspects together makes one of the most demanding driving experiences possible, but also, one of the most rewarding ones.
26" mtb tyres gives the chance to take all this properties to the limit, on loose grip surfaces, like dirt tracks, and also a higher reliability in urban rides, against pot holes, etc.
If all those explanations are not enough, then maybe could be said that the Lollobrigida project is the result of a lot of nights dreaming of the ultimate racing bicycle in a postnuclear apocalyptic world, where there's nothing left but remains of what in another time was a perfect tarmacs and squared cities world...

I love Maxxi Hookworms, but on the right bike, probably a 24" jump/street bike like a Curtis, but not here. They're 2.5s, and weigh a ton

It's a repost but it's still a lovely bike, out of the ordinary. I'd definitely ride it.

I thought you only rode black bikes. Your morals are slipping in old age dude.
-
• #5290
I only own black bikes. I've ridden many other coloured bikes in the past.
That said that bike in all black would be a stealth bitch. WANT.

Hookworms are massively heavy even by MTB standards. I have long hankered after a pair for my DMR. But can't see them being remotely useable on a bike like that. But I'll reserve judgement until I've actually ridden the beast

I'm not ashamed to admit that I have daydreamed about riding a bike in a post-apocalyptic urban wasteland. That bike would do fucking nicely.
