I am not the only one thinking the Coppi should have gears and conversions have no place in Bike Porn?
-
• #48214
I think its possibly the nicest conversion I've ever seen.
-
• #48215
But just the idea of how nice it could be built up properly is enough to warrant its downgrade from BP status, surely?

It has some of the most heinous brake levers I have seen.
Too many bikes escape criticism because of decent/concealing photographs.
-
• #48218
Those levers leave the whole bar free from clutter. They're good.

I don't see it as bike porn, as I used some components( like the Gusset converter and brake levers), that I don't really like, but I think it turned out good enough for the budget I had. :)
Like I said, bar/lever combi really does look better irl and as regular hooded levers weren't comfortable, this was the compromise I stuck with.
I'm still looking for another decent solution, cause the levers do feel rather shitty tbh.Somehow forgot to take a flattering photo, I only have this.

the rear wheel is in identity crisis - is it mavic or is it sugino??
-
• #48224
Sugino by the look of it. Mavic stickers were probably just slapped on because they had them.

Gumwall tires on the Vertigo?
Also, saddle and tape colours aren't my bag.
Otherwise, rather nice.
+1
How about ...
Superbe Pro / Dura Ace / Sugino > campagnolo.
(let the flaming comence. lol)
