TFG sell them

Cheers MacReady. Anyone know where I can get a deal on em. Hate paying RRP for stuff on the internet. Especially when Winstanleys are doing them for £160 in silver.

Quite a few sets on eBay, here for example. Even with shipping it should be under TFG price, customs is the only risk.
Yeah, I can't be dealing with the hassle of customs. Might look for something else similar. Had a bontrager GXP chainset on my old Lemond Fillmore, which I really liked so might go looking on ebay for one of those instead. It's only for my ride to work hack so even £160 is probably more than I should be spending.

Phone then before ordering. They are terrible for marking products as 'in stock', taking your cash and sending you an alternative product instead. You'd end up with a triple chainset or 9 months wait for the Omnium.

SRAM do a cheaper version with external cups, only about 80 quid I think. Might be worth a punt

Cheers guys. I think I need to get on the google and have a propper look at what's about.

I love Kleins. But I hate their paintjobs. If I was ever given one I would either pass it on or respray it something a bit more tame. Not black though

From current projects.
the sexiest bike I've seen for years and a nice story too. Makes me want to take a pint of peek to my old bike and get it super shiny!

Just had a quick look and Winstanleys have em down as 130BCD which is pretty common.
-

130BCD which is pretty common.
Yeah, common as muck, won't do for track snobs who insist on 144.
One of the many reasons to give Winstanleys a wide berth is that the price database they show to the googlebot is not the same one they show to customers, so they must get millions of clicks based on prices in the search results which they are never going to sell at. Scum.
-
• #47718
144bcd makes sense - less likely to fold a chainring.
-
• #47719
Like any of us is going to fold a chainring
-
• #47720
Let's see you fold this:

I'll give that one a miss.
I've folded a TA chainring on a standing start and seen other TA and Stronglight chainrings folded. None of these are from impressively strong people - just people who ride bikes. None of them were particularly cheap either.

Yeah, or it's on there at that price for some obscure size and all the rest are RRP. Okay if you're after that obscure size tho I guess.

That's three bikes in two pages with this chainset but can I find anywhere in the uk that sells them in black. Anyone know where I can get a set of these or something similar in black?
