nyquil, think about trying to explain what you were doing on the internet to your girlfriend.
Sound pathetic doesn't it?

[QUOTE=Smallfurry;2059078]Tandem DH anyone?
Seen the Jackass episode where they ride a tandem on a DH track? Very messy!

It does look steep, but not that crazy for a keirin bike really.

downhilling.
talking about riding up the hill.
wut.
Obviously not at any great speed and usually up a fire road rather than the DH track but yeah it can be done. Especially if done on a hardtail. What's so 'wut' about that? Gotta get to the top somehow.
Its almost like me saying - you ride your track bike on the road - wut.

Looking back at that Cyfac road tandem, I'm not so sure it's aesthetically porn. But it would be awesome to have a go on!

downhill and uphill are pretty much opposites. Is riding up the hill part of the discipline?
Didn't think so. -

also that keirin bike, not got a kashimax saddle, not NJS.
-
• #45344
My point is many DHers use their own power to get to the top. Contradicting dear old Sheldon. That is all. Getting to the top of the course is very much part of the discipline.

less rake less twitchy

no.
more rake less twitchy -

no.
more rake less twitchyCorrect. The fork has little rake and is matched to a steep head angle. Would be fun on a track but maybe a bit too much for the road.
