anti
I like that. It has beater appeal/charm and good parts. Maybe I should have kept it as personal pron.

Not really that keen, but I am curious about the bars. What are they?
I've got some north road style bars flipped. and they sweep down a bit too much.
Now thinking of something else, but with similar styling.
Thoughts?
The bar in picture are the Nitto Promenade B617, think you can get them in Freshtripe.

Really like road bars on track bikes.
Yeah, this isnt working due to the honking 'ergo bars' fucking hate that term. Anyway that and the seatpin are blunting it for me, close though. The other ones just rank.

A lot of it yes. But bearing in mind these are the prise winners...
- Best Paint: KirkLee Bicycles - seriously wtf???
- Best Track Frame: http://www.2011.handmadebicycleshow.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/03-six-eleven55221.jpg?
- People’s Choice: Naked Bicycles? and
- President’s Choice: Anderson Custom Bicycles???
- Best Road Frame: Ellis Cycles (it's really nice and I'm not saying it's anti, but *road *frame, really?)
Those three posted here are definitely worthy, though (imo).
Agree on all points.
The combination of deep section carbon wheels, and skinny lugged steel tubing, can be amazing. Easy to feck up though, as proved repeatedly above.
If I was to pick a modern built lugged steel frame, with 1" headset etc. It would be Regal's feather. Beats any frame of its type, that I've seen, on NAHBS (IMHO etc.)

Ergo bars are always anti. It took me a while to find nice non-ergo drops which weren't pistas

ergo bars aren't anti if you riding track bikes at a velodrome

ergo bars aren't anti if you riding track bikes long distances at a velodrome
Ftfy. I was banging my fucking wrists on sprint bars on Saturday, definitely don't want to go anywhere near road bars for track use.

I'm using ITM Visia on my track bike. I always preferred shallow drop, got the same bars on my road bike
Never had any problems with them when doing long derny races

Very nice of you to say so, ta.
Speaking of Feather cycles, here's a new (road) bike:
Not wild about the curly seat tube carving - looks too much like a stress riser to me - but I like the bike. Needs black hoods and saddle maybe.

I like it as it is. The bars are a bit too matchy matchy maybe. But nice none the less.
I'd love that frame in a light moss colour, in an audax version. -

It's looks nice but carbon rims on a steel frame? Does not really make sense to me.

Why not...?

• #43996
for me carbon wheel are allways a plus in road and track bikes
-
• #43997
1+ on Regal, why not? steel are a great alternative to carbon and alu when it come to road bike, especially oversized one.

Why not...?
Why pay an substantial premuim for a super light wheelset only to have it weighed down by a steel frame?
Looks nice though, just a bit confused.
-
• #43999
I doubt the steel frame is heavy as you described it to be, for instance, this is 6.04kg;
This is 7.5kg;
I'm sure the owner have a reason to choose a steel frame over the alternative...

because rotating mass is a different ball game and makes more difference than frame weight when on the bike
I think carbon rims look great on steel frames not necessary but this is a porn thread
