  • ah gabes good work very tight. it looks tiny!

  • Not a great pic as it's in black and white and really doesn't do it justice but here's my pride and joy (for now)

Fort Track Frame (British Racing Green)
    Ambrosio Pista Crank
    Ambrosio Pista Carbon BB
Campagnolo Khamsin 27 spoke wheels in Gold(changed the hub but can't remember what it is and I've been out of the country for a while)
Charge Spoon Saddle(Brown Leather, used to have drop bars with matching tape)
    Specialized MTB Bars(chopped real short)
Random Stem (found lying around the house)

Built the whole lot for about €600

Planning to go for a SanRensho or a Broaklands next hopefully :)

  • readers wives ahoy!

  • Sort the saddle out

  • yeesh

  • Uh-oh, posting your own bike in the bike porn thread. Tut tut.

  • +1 vb, and worse still, it has UniPak wheels...

  • +1 vb, and worse still, it has UniPak wheels...

True they were "unipak" but it's A. my first bike and I built them myself and changed hubs....how many 27 spoke track hubs have you ever seen??
    and
    B. They may be "unipak" but they're still more original than everyone out there with a Deep-V and a Phil, they cost me a lot less too and they're good wheels so...... To be honest if it's what I get off on then what's wrong with putting it up here?? I've had nothing but compliments on it so...

It's considered bad form to post your own bike as porn. If you go through the thread you'll see that it very rarely happens, and when it does, people get the same response ("don't post your own bike in the porn thread!"). The "names and faces" thread is for posting pics of your bike (and face!).

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

  • Unipack wheels = Cheap Vs

    ;-)

Many people on here would question their quality. Hope they last the week out. Good luck!

    Are you serious? "Track"?

Well i dont think its up to much, and anyone who knew anything about fixed gear bicycles would have some serious reservations aout that set up . . and as for putting Unipack wheels on, do you want to make it past your first skid, or end up in Hospital?

  • this is another marmite bike, love it or hate it!

bike features a sublimated powder coat finish, where u take any digital graphic and apply it in any color while still maintaining the durability of a powder coat finish.

  • I've had those wheels on for six months now and they're still prefect, I didn't say I got a 27 spoke track hub, got a 36 and divided it out, most of the people I've had complimenting it are Couriers here in Dublin, I assumed incorrectly that unipak meant out of the box.

Fair enough on the not posting your own bike bit though, new to the forum and didn't realise, sorry guys :)

Honestly thouogh those wheels are good, not one peoblem with them yet, hardly had to tweak them at all once I got them right the first time and they're seriously light!

I like it. Really interesting technique - endless possibilities. Do you know anywhere that does it dogsballs?

  • That is fucking hideous! Who would wana paint their bike like a bandana!? :-$

What a waste of a Paul crank

I would sell my bum for that frame

EDIT: Fucking hate the paint job though

  • i like it! think of the co-ordinating neck scarf combos! sweet. :D

  • with a different pattern and colour it would be deeply sexual. LOVE the fork/rear rim and frame/front rim matching. sweet.

  • OK so am i right in thinking it's a heat transfer post powder coat before clear coat. Where the transfer ink is painted in reverse and wrapped on the frame.
The design isn't great but you have to give them some rep for doing a tight job, it sounds a ball ache

i've chased this up further. the place that does it is http://kolorfusion.com/index.htm

object could get pink camo :O

  • You know I opnly ride black frames.
Quite fancy some wheels in that though.
