The amount of road grease that is thrown up of the front tyre that would contaminate the pads means it is still retarded. The best place for disc brakes is where most manufacturers bicycle and motor bike place them, the non drive side hub!

Hugo, well done. Lets get back to some good looking bikes.

I really like the slightly odd rubbery grips and that red highlight is a great eg of how to pick out a detail without overdoing it.

usually not a fan of crazy flamboyant lugwork, but I think those look great on the stripped frame

One man's porn is another man's poison.
I want to like this Litespeed but a decent frame has been ruined by a dubious choice of colour co-ordinated components. Gold rarely works as a complimentary colour and when you've different shades of gold then it just looks cheap. The mismatched cable runs, the ugly stem and the stupid stem angle (especially when the same handlebar height could be achieved using the spacers above the stem) just ruin it for me.

This example seems to work better. But you have to ask yourself if you'd like to be seen riding it.

the cannondale fork looks nice chromed
You might know of this example: http://velospace.org/node/6301
Slightly better but I still can't see the point of bolting the disc onto the cranks instead of the hubs.
