Over all I think it looks fairly nice and it works, but if your being thorough, it's a fail IMO. Thomson layback? Moot as to whether that's ever porn, but on a classic Italian frame? I think aethetically that's hard to argue for...and pls none of this "oh it's comfortable for the rider" shit.

Those are my points exactly.

Telling me I have no taste doesn't make sense. I do have taste, unlike some people who think old + Italian = porn. It just doesn't work that way. Individual parts may be quality items and the bike no doubt works perfectly fine, that's not enough to make it porn is it. As a whole the bike looks like a mishmash of random parts and just doesn't qualify for porn in my book.

That Ciocc is so nice. One of my favourate components, full stop, is the Selle Italia Storika saddle. I'd love a black one, and that^ would be the perfacet place to pearch it.

It's more like someone has taken the Mona Lisa and put a coloured designer perspex frame around it and hung it by the BBQ at 1001.

Some ppl like the modern twist and putting it in a location that's easier for some to see. While someone else says "I don't like it. The Mona Lisa shouldn't have that shit and I don't really care how much the frame cost."

Also it's the porn thread, it's all about disscussion. That said, I really don't get why everyone is having such a go, some of it in a bit of a nasty tone. ESP when the dudes points are clearly not as completely 'wrong' as ppl are making out. A better response would have been:
