They're not great in the wind, that's true
To call them twitchy would be the great grandmother of all understatements...

yes. but they aint OTP. (and panasonic are semi-otp)
trust me. i live in japan. took me 2 months to find a 58cm
I was in Japan for a week and Carnival had three 58cm Vivalos, a 58cm Stratos and a couple of 59cms (Stratos, too, I think). Perhaps they just know where to look?

having 6 bikes doesnt make them common.
and they would be buying up all the big size bikes to sell at inflated prices to the gaijin who come to visit :P

We all know the DQM X Trackstar bikes are sweet, but I really like those other three ^^^... They need colour/component tweakin' tho'... I love the frame more than anything else...

Really? the arrospok/trispok would be the one i'd ride out of the 3. I'd raise the saddle and change the bar angle though. And never ride it when it's windy.
Have you caught a little 'autosteer™' on your Hed3 yet ?

The all chrome is the Ceeway stem which was the only lugged stem kit available for builders until Darrell designed his own. 31.8 dia, and the dia of the tube is more in keeping with the frame tubes. Thus you now have all these builders (like this lovely Shamrock example demonstrates) using his design. For the full story: http://www.fyxomatosis.com/readarticle.php?article_id=6
Note: The design has a positive rise like most stems today. Looks like Shamrock have inverted the rear lug to achieve a neutral or negative rise, thus the absence of the heart cut out and fleur de lys.
