I have a similar bar set-up to the Aende, and it works far better than hoodless drops for me.

The Aende is a lo pro in my eyes. (All sizes have a slope)

The chubby dale is not.

Neither of them are. A slightly downward sloping TT does not make a bike a low pro.

Just to confirm, Dom.. the guy the Aende was built for, was very specific about what he wanted re. setup position and bars. I tend to agree drops would look better but he is a pretty long fella (upper half) and the extra reach on the pursuit bars helps. He didnt fancy sucking his own dick with drops on it.
Whether its a lopro or not I cant comment. Its got a 20mm forward slope, I would have said its just an aggressive track frame but dont know.. best to ask Pongo. Thanks for all the comments.
