Carbon's main benefit is high stiffness to density ratio. Why would you want to make this out of CFRP?

And woven CFRP at at. You can get a higher stiffness metal, which is tougher, stronger and probably cheaper too. And safer too.

But then again I guess it must be good as it composite.
