out of the two obvious resto jobs i would prefer the one with graphics reproduced closer to the original - the top one. and, if you're trying so hard to match the famous pic, cycling shoes and bling wheels are not enough - try finding the frameset with **right **headset/headtube

Can the decals on these carbon frames and wheels be removed or are they printed on to the surface.I think sometimes it can be a little OTT.Just personal taste really,but i prefer something a little more understated (says me with pink and purple frames).I suppose being carbon and black would appear boring to alot of people.Just saying like...

The forks are pretty nice. I used to have a set.

Those ones in particular, or in general? Frames are mostly paint or decals under the clear coat, wheels are mostly vinyl stickers on top of the clear coat, but there are exceptions.

Uber-weightweenies carefully sand off the clear coat to leave matt carbon.

I like the fact it is a track bike, prepared for the track.
