Thats why I need lots of bikes.

Would still like an enduro style full-sus, with plenty of gears. There are some mad routes around the mountain tops near where I live.

My fully rigid SS is only really good for the milder trails, that wind around the sides.

He knows what real winter temperatures are like.

a winter where it is constantly sub zero is very different to one that hangs about -5 to +5. not to mention how much the gritting of the roads/accompanying salty slush affects maintenance requirements, just saying like.

i spent 3 months in finland in winter and seriously low temps are a lot easier to deal with, mainly due to the fact once it drops below -5 the air/snow will be dry.
