Lovely. BUT,
Aesthetically, the wheels look silly.
Technically, I bet the thing flexes like a noodle.yeah man, the wheels do look a bit saft, i think the frame is nice though, it was built specially by cinelli as a one off.

custom 64cm Supercorsa Pista
73deg seat tube and then slamming the saddle all the way forward = customisation fail

i think your missing the point...the bike was a one off built like that by cinelli
-

Haha no no no, nyquil. The fact it was a one off, built by Cinelli, and it still has the wrong seat tube angle, is NOT good.

no doubt repost but fuck it, the guy's obviously put such a stupid amount of effort it i reckon he's earned it.

from this
to this
and fair enough, the final product isn't exactly a thing of beauty but that amount of effort/ingenuity has to count for something!
totally cool, but i wonder how well the thing deals with a full carry. i don't think the bike is designed for such loads. still very cool. essentially surprised he didn't add a strut to the rear triangle, errr... square.

Technically, I bet the thing flexes like a noodle.who rides a steel frame for stiffness? its more about the enjoyment they bring from being ridden. believe it or not my ti frame is stiffer than my steel frame, but my steel frame is still a joy to ride

im with you on the wheels though. it really should have some mavic tub rims, cinelli stem and drops, and full campy record group
-
• #29010
I have ridden large lugged steel frames before and they feel disgusting. When sprinting it feels like the thing is bending in half.
-
• #29011
That's because you're so powerful.
-
• #29012
hmm well maybe im not putting out the same sort of power as you, but i love riding my steel pearson
-
• #29013
I'm talking 62cm+ frames and 15 stone of weight being pushed through my legs.
-
• #29014
That's because you're so powerful.
Watch it :-)
-
• #29015
ah there you go. 60cm frame with 10 stone rider
-
• #29016
Never ridden any lugged steel bigger than 62cm and wouldn't really want to :-S
-
• #29017
You're 10 stones?! Christ on a pogo stick!

Or the owner hasn't a clue on how to set up his bicycle properly.

Repost? I like it, because it's tidy, although I wouldn't go for these rims.
-
• #29024
Yeah it's a repost but damn it's my favourite kind, tick every box for me (from the chrome to the twin plate fork).
frame wise of course, build doesn't excited me.

It's a beaut alright. But does the geom at the steerer tube look too relaxed..?
Picky.
