go and see them theyre very nice people,
http://www.royce-uk.co.uk/Oooh, they finally have disc hubs. Nice.
Now I have the dilemma of choosing between the Chris King ISO Single-speed Disc hub or the Royce Venus Disc hub.
All I want is a stonkingly high quality disc hub that takes Shimano 9-spline and is 135mm for the rear.
Phil Wood K.I.S.S. Off look good too, but the thread on sprocket means that it won't be able to take a Gates sprocket for belt drive. The Phils are actually my favourite but compatibility rules them out.

The Chris King and the Hope SS/trials pro II, have more engagements, if that matters (not sure I'd care so much on the road). Also, I personally dont like the idea of dishing a rear wheel, only to fit a single cog.
symmetrical spoke tension + larger bracing angle = Stronger and laterally stiffer wheel.
Another aspect, is the fact that the belt system is smooth and quiet, yet both the forementioned hubs click like bugger. Personally I love the contrast, but it might not appeal to all.

Are the Hopes zero dish? And do they take 9 spline sprockets? I can't find a great deal of info about them, the Hope website is useless as usual.

Yes and yes. The standard 9 spline Gates sprocket fits on nicely.

Freaking awesome. Then those will be the hubs on the 2nd wheelset for the Mather.
With Sapim CX-Ray and of course some Edge Composite rims.

too much white
