Against the far stronger British team I don't think it would matter what bikes they were on.
Theo Bos the road rider? Yeah, their 500k bike has been doing a lot of good for them.

Anna Meares still holds the 500m TT record which she set on a BT and the awesome VP hasn't beaten it.

Dimple in the seat tube for the front derailleur mount = Fail as track bike. Makes you wonder what else they didn't change when trying to get some extra sales out of their TT bike mould.
