I don't know why, but I've never seen a Passoni I like. Too fussy.
-
• #24306
That should be anti-porn,white colour doesn't fit.
-
• #24307
that Passoni could be really nice, but i cant get past the hideous white shit at the front and the misplaced brown leather. other than that its sweet, love the combined seat post/tube.

Just change the stem and fork and you'll be fine.

Change the bottlecage, stem, saddle, fork, bar tape and chainrings. Oh and get rid of the sticker on the ST.

looking at the passoni website, they make nice frames, but loose their way when adding components or choosing colours for components.

Apparently the UCI have banned it from competitive racing.

I have no idea if this is just a marketing stunt by Bosberg....................

stem and fork are bit yuk but the saddle is a proper knob saver:
So what you sayin', Fes? Always with the cock-friendly saddles... I think the lady doth protest too much...

Looks like a bunch of SoCal slackers trying to pay for their bikes by arbitraging a group buy from a Chinese carbon shop. Given that, £1000 for a frame, and only after they've held your £500 deposit for two months, doesn't look that special.

If you're going to start from rims, I'd go for the Halo Mercury (re-branded Kinlin Nb30), although if I actually wanted a set of ~30mm deep alloy track clinchers, I'd stick with the Mavic Ellipse, they have proven to be very tough and they are much cheaper than AC420s.
I was looking at them for a fast, yet reliable, set of road wheels.
I was actually a bit suprised to find out that the Mercurys where rebranded Nb30s,as I had kinda discounted them as a hipster brand slaps wrist. Easier to source than the IRD Cadence aero too.I'm now very tempted to go all out and put together a set of light 30+mm carbon tubulars. I have other bikes to use in the rain, and like the idea of having a wheelset for tubs. I can always compliment these with some cheap-as clinchers to cover all the cheap-light-strong bases.
Tempted by these rims.
