  • Good. You're learning

(No smileys required, it's just a forum about bikes with one cog 'outback')

  • Found it - Nitto ADB X

stoopid prices on them atm especially given you can only use them with removable stem face plates

  • $110-150, yeah pretty high, a cheap Cinelli road bar is plenty enough.

Hilarystone had these bars in one of the posts full of bargains... but i think it was sold even before the post went up :( i hate it when people PM without dibbing...

anyway, IMHO these bars suit this thread perfectly, would've love to at least try them out on my bike

  • something from flickr to prove my point ^^^^^

  • ^what stem is that?

  • it's a "matching stem", according to the owner (from flickr) :)
    lol

That blue quill stem is crazy! I was wondering how people fit quill stems on them.

  • ahhhhhh, but how much??

  • £75 I think.

  • ^ I already posted your Nagasawa frame!! Must say, I think it is stunning!!

  • American Classics Track wheelset. Really nice hubs but Im not how the wheelset would hold up on the road. Only porn if you can remove the stickers!

  • The 420 rims are tough enough, but AC have a rep for using the smallest bearings they can get away with to appeal to weight weenies, which doesn't bode well for standing up to the streets of London's famous London. The track rear, for example, uses 6803 bearings 17x26x5 compared with the much more burly 6001 12x28x8 found in more common hubs which has almost double the load rating of the thinner bearing

  • On track they should be fine though? Decent price.

    technically that's readers ......... no?

    sorry if i missed something.

  • There just products though?

  • There just products though?

    FFS.... T H E Y ' R E!!!...
...Max's products... if i'm selling something it's mine until i sell it, no?
(and it should be 'it's just products'...)

  • it's never too early to start them on the bike pimpin' - Desi's little boys first bike in club livery…

I had a pair of 420 wheels and the hubs were, as mdcc_tester says, absolutely crap. They went through bearings at an alarming rate. American Classic claim to have redesigned the hubs but the bearings are still very small.
