Not feeling that front rack, looks too much like a boat... "I'm the king of the world!"
Nor do I care for the mixte-style tubes between the chain and seat stays, that aren't part of the 'top' tube.

• #24060
yeah, it make you want to stand on the rack and spread your arm open like a bird.
-
• #24061
And don't get me started on that fucking rear rack...

^^^Is that a 650 on the front?
shouldn't be as the 14bike frame is def barspinnable.
-
• #24063
I like that bike... maybe it's just me.

Forks on bikes like that have a big gap between tyre and "fork crown" to create more clearance for spinning a 700c wheel.
I like that bike... maybe it's just me.
I like it too, but it's definitely not for me. I certainly appreciate the work that's gone into it and I can tell that it's made someone very happy, which I like alot.

From the Condor blog:
This is sample number four for Chris Newton who is helping Condor develop new track models for the 2012 Olympics. The frame is handmade in Japan by one of the last few remaining NJS (Japanese Keirin race approved) builders, Akio Tenabe. His order book is currently full and he is only taking orders from professional Keirin riders.
Akio agreed to make a frame for Chris as their goal and ours is the same, to make a frame suitable for the top endurance riders who are competing for places at the London Olympics. Chris is well qualified having competed in numerous Olympiads and he has plenty of medals to go with his World Championship jerseys. -

• #24069
That explain why I saw the Kalavinka in Condor a while ago.
where is this condor blog you speak of?
-
• #24070
Wasnt some dude on here who had a prototype Kalavinka testing something to do with this? Might even have been Chris Newton
-
• #24071
Yeah thats right. Don't think it was Newton :D
I like it, but don't like the Rapha Condor livery.

i thought NJS would only approve of steel frames and other components, hence NJS builders would master this area, as opposed to other materials - aluminum, carbon etc.
sorry if i missed something
