I really like it. Probably no lighter than a Alu DH bike, but the way all the suspension, and gearing parts are hidden away, really appeals.
ED: Fecking stupid place for a bird bath though.

The Evil is a rip off of the Nikolai. That Nik has been around for longer than Evil have been making bikes. -

would have thought a 29er would be more down your street? :)
Fully rigid on the trail yes ;)
Not sure I agree with the idea of long travel suspension and 29" wheels. If your using up a fair amount of travel, then you'll benifit more from some more travel and 26" wheels then 29" wheels (maybe, IMHO). This is'nt based on any experiance though.
This....

Jeff Jones!
Fat front, 29er rear - Sick bike. I'd personally want the double wide though. -
• #23673
See I don't get this ^
While I can understand risers help in built up areas on a road bike.
(More upright/alert, more turning moment, hand on brake)
I do not understand how drops can help offroad?
Stands back and lights tape

How are those wide tyres to ride? I'd think they'd be very slow rolling - certainly the wider my offroad tyres are, the slower they roll (for any given tread).
Isn't there a point where so wide becomes pointless. Unless you're on snow/sand, both of which the pic above doesn't contain.
Fill me in, I'm probably wrong!
...had to google those!
No, they are old single-crown Marzocchi Shivers, flexy but nice...
