Don you missed our unfinished what is art thread (this fourm is really good at staying on topic) I argued that art is something that exists for asetic reasons alone, where as anything that servers a purpose past that would be design, or some thing that is not art.

ergo no bike can be art.

Can you imagine the welds and fillet brazing you'd see if aesthetics were abstracted from frame building so that only function were important?

Bikes are both form and function, art and utility.
