based on that behaviour you should have dumped your mercian straight in here
-
• #21908
all I'm saying they had better be Cinelli bars, not Nitto on the Goff

eh?!
dipshitted OP fail!
hadn't been on current projects so stupidly assumed the goff was fruit's and he'd made the ballsy move to just chuck it straight into porn.
it was an indirect compliment, saying that if that was allowed, you should have done it with your mercian.

i know you london guys need narrow handle bars to get through gaps in the traffic, but seriously that's just ridiculous, how do you have any controlMy handlebars are probably over twice that width on all of my bikes - having said that, i could control a bike perfectly well with handlebars that width.
The reason i think it's stupid having them that short - is there is literally only one hand position, that isn't even very comfy. -

Love it, hate the saddle and tape (colour).

but hey, at least they're sustainable. i'm not sure if you'd want bamboo bars any wider...any more stress along them and they'd probably snap. it could be an engineering-based decision to go skinny.

True^
But i suggest the owner just buys some normal flipping bars if that's the case!

You mean like these?

Using plumbing copper for handlebbars is the shittest idea ever (if that's what it it). It does conveniently come in diameters that fit standard stem clamps, but it will bend with no force applied whatsoever.
-
• #21918
^^Are u serious!? you haven't got the part that those bars are made of wood?
-
• #21919
this has copper bars:
