Shit the bed, it all makes my Mercian mission seem a bit ordinary. Are you still set on 577c?

Yeah. Looked at it again today in Photoshop and then remembered my monitor wasn't calibrated. Still... I remember the colour well enough so I'll stick with it.

Yay Campag! Only took them 20 years to copy the slant parallelogram off Suntour
No, they had to wait for 20 years until the patent ended.

Didn't suntour patent the hell out of it, making it impossible for campag to copy?

bit of both by the look of it, massive ring needed because of little wheels

this is some nice red paint...

nice. bars need levelling, though! imo.

also .. those look like 25mm tyres, on clincher rims. lower profile rims and gumwall tubulars would look nicer, imo. but it's still beautiful.

yeah, the bottom of the drops are not parallel to the TT. this may be personal preference, since i've seen quite a few bikes this way. but i think they look better level.

I don't follow, what's wrong with that ? to angle of the bars is an ergonomic thing though, right? I think they look just right. [/devil's advocate]

If he tipped them any further drop the angle between them and the stem would be too sharp. If it were a deep drop track stem I'd agree, but for a road quill like that I'd say it was just right. Jus sayin'! :)
can't wait to see this completed!
