Though the bike itself isnt that pornworthy, this is a cool little feature on the new Gary Fisher Chronos road bike, which is supposedly the stiffest frame ever to come out of the Trek stable, and a Madone rivaling build, but with some pravtical touches - these attach to the frame for when you want to run guards, and it will run 25's with guards in place, 28's without - great idea

Simply unthread the plugs to provide a handy mounting point for the included rear fender mounts.

While this bike is cool, it turned out that Carbon was the undoing of the most successful exploiter of the BMC Time Machine. Ultimately, it was carbon isotope ratio analysis which 'proved' that Landis had used synthetic testosterone.
Stick to the C-12 kids, it's better for you and 7% lighter than C-13

This is the TT bike of Vinokourov for the 2007 TdF prologue.

I guessed that from the file name, but it's essentially the same as Floyd's TT bike from the previous year, and Vinokourov's doping ban didn't relate to the carbon theme.

sorry if I've missed something but why should there be a carbon pike porn thread too?
Because it's the end result in making bicycle frames & parts.Technology will not advance much more than this.Only design will.

my question was more in reference to the fact that this thread gets along fine with all different types of bicycle in it, so I can't see a reason why Carbon should have it's own separate thread.
