  • Nothing as nice as the classic Bianchi Pista (with integrated headset) thought;

  • That is nice the headset is quite rare I suspect

  • that classic is a beut.
wouldn't it be fun if everyone who owns a bianchi pista posts a pic of it on this thread?

    :-)

  • Gah, I meant he posted it in the current project thread after doing it up.

Thanks for the comments it's still a project as i will be doing a couple more things to it.

I'm not going to post a picture, but merely put an link down since this is bike porn, but this is the best looking Pista I've done so far (at least that what I like to think).

I do think the old Cinelli saddle are better on it, you can call up Tour de Ville as they have some old stock lying around for you.

  • Ed were those bars 123s or 125s?

  • The frame forks & paint mainly.

  • ^ ewwww

it looks like a nu-rave nightmare

  • it looks like a nu-rave nightmare

yet it's merely a bicycle! rendered using colours! don't blame it for your own petty associations!

  • would make a nice TT frame..

    123aa.

is that the 07 or 08 pista? geometry looks quite nice. i know its your old bike but its nice, everything goes together very well.

  • 08 and it have a road fork on it, that why the geo look different, it now got a track fork with scarily tight clearance and bit of toes overlappage.

  • ah, yeah that stem/fork thing you had going on is definitely a must with the bianchi pista. imho the stock forks are foul, and on a bike like that the stem looks out of place, especially if you already change the forks to a nice lugged track fork.

but yeah, as i said, very nice.

  • Or even that threaded fork kingcutter got, that's just perfect for a lugless steel frame.

  • **In case anyone has missed it...

2009-07-11 Sat - Emma Memorial ride**

In memory of another life tragically taken from us on the roads of London, there will be a memorial ride on this date where we will visit the spot where Emma passed away, I have spoken to Riccardo, and he will be writing a small piece about Emma and her Life which will be recited at the Stone Circle (the usual critical mass starting point). Beginning at 6pm, we will start/finish at this point taking in sections of Central and West London to hopefully offer a very visible presence, and give Emma a worthy send off from her fellow cyclists. I'll be planning the route over the next week, but help with printing/laminating of spoke cards for this would be much appreciated. Tell your friends, tell your colleagues, tell your loved ones, tell everyone, see you there.

    Update:

Start at the stone circle (southbank) 6pm
Route through central London including accident spot in Holborn
***Finish at stone circle approximately 8-8:30pm
