  • 'nearly' being the key word in this case

  • The New York leg of the ninth annual Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) kicks off today, and with it comes a series of limited edition bike saddles from Italian manufacturer San Marco. An exclusive first look, the Concor Supercorsa comes in five different colors, each corresponding to one of the three dozen cities participating. The seats have a leather nabuk cover and come in blue (New York), black (London), green (Milan), yellow (Paris) and red (Tokyo), each labeled with its respective city and the BFF logo.
There will only be fifty saddles in each color available online for €95 when the festival opens in that city. More images after the jump.

    From Tracko - Rex

    EDIT - Although I don't think I would pay £95 for one...
Do you think the London one is black so the rain marks after day 1 will show up less?!

  • No, it's cos there's too many ethnics living here

    • racist
  • bau-bike...repost?

    porn? i think so.

That is a tenuous link to the bauhaus if ever I saw one. They actually took inspiration from the simplicity of racing bicycles for their furniture.

Not vice-versa. Typical ill-thought out simulacra. Rubbish. Next!

  • Oh you can buy it brand new, wait till Feburary 2010 I think, here's the track one (note the tighter geometry to the road one you show);

it's called the crocc mockba 80, retailled at $999 as far as I know.

Saw that a few days ago, and can't find a website for them or very little info on it? Did you find anything solid ed? Been saving up to upgrade from the pista for a while now.

  • It's a deda pista newton... last time I checked they were going for £90 that was about a year ago. I got mine from famous ebay for £8.71!! I keep looking for them but they are rare.

There's a 10cm one on my floor that's yours (or anybody's) for £30. Best new price I can find without looking hard is £61.50, but only in 12 and 13cm at the moment

  • WTF is going on there - Capo masquerading as a tourer?

  • electric?

    BTW Anti...

  • I dont mind the Capo, good if pricey OTP, but not my idea of porn, quite like this on though

  • I cannot stand stems that point upwards attached to drops, it's just SO wrong!!

-10 deg and the stem would be nice and horisontal and look way better. (IMHO)

  • And I hate the forks, frame is nice tho.

    Sorry VV :)

Drops give a whole load more hand positions though

Yeh i would def slam some straight bladed forks in there - not a massive fan of it, but was the best i found when looking at Capos on t'internet

I think it makes sense if it´s there to correct your position, you see it even in pro´s bikes. I´m sure aesthetics´s not the priority when you take it to the track, efficiency is. Efficiency is porn.

that's not my point Moogie, it was purely an asthetic thing about upward pointing stems.
I've nothing against drops per sae.

    if your a German....

  • NoNoNo! Porn is Porn, Efficiency is for the Germans!

  • Jinx!

  • if your a German....

    Was verstehen Sie darunter?

  • As they say, don't slag it off until you've tried it (then slag it off).

It is the world's lightest electric bike (Jason Bradbury of the Gadget Show loved it, he's a single speed fan) see pics - http://www.cytronex.com/Photos.html

We produce the Cytronex electric bike system (http://www.cytronex.com) which was launched last year, and as I like single speed bikes we tried fitting a special system to a Genesis Day One - http://www.moderntimesltd.com/product.asp?s=9tpxcn117379&strParents=&CAT_ID=19&P_ID=162 and was so impressed we put it into production and then added the Capo, which at 13.6Kg has a superb power to weight ratio.

Basically it has all the benefits of single speed but gets you up to optimum speed fast and climbs respectable hills at 15mph. See - http://www.moderntimesltd.com/product.asp?s=9tpxcn117379&strParents=&CAT_ID=19&P_ID=161. Basically, nobody will beat you away from the traffic lights and you can ride steep hills at an efficient cadence. You just start pedalling then it takes off, adding 250W to your own power, whatever pace you are doing it pushes a bit harder.

Yeah but it looks like a pengy - and i have a motorbike for when i feel like not pedaling! - to be fair it seems like a good bit of kit, but the point of a track/ss bike to me is that is paired down and simple, and putting that kit on one is a bit of a contradiction imo.

Plus it looks like a tea leaf magnet
