  • i really dislike the geekhouse forks. the rest of the bikes are gravy, but those forks just look like theyve been cobbled togather. why go through all the effort of doing fancy tapering and bending on the frame, with real smooth welds only to skimp on the forks. i dont get it. theyre headbadges are atrocious as well, which i dont get either.

    • loads
I love the way the frame flows and think it gives the bike the look of being both speedy and street (I'm far to old to use this term, sorry) at the same time. But those forks just look wrong. They look like On-one mtn forks to me.

  • what is the point in those mudguards? ^^ they ain't doin' shit.

They'll be doing something if your tyres pick up a sizable stone or stick. They'll ripping the tyre to shite and/or throwing you off the bike.

SKS chromoplastics probably do a better job...

Totally. They have a safety release mechanism on the front, to stop the above from happening.

    Blooding sexy looking bike though.

  • not quite my bag but interesting take on things for those wanting a basket

  • smallfurry, the on-one forks come forward off the main centre section, the GH forks are even.

  • and with this ones

  • smallfurry, the on-one forks come forward off the main centre section, the GH forks are even.

Yeah, the rake is taken care of more by the drop outs on the GH. Its purely an asthetic thing really. Its not that they are ugly in themselves, they just look it when attached to such a nice frame (IMHO).

  • i think they suit the frame, and i like 'em.

but not with the new drop outs.

  • front drops on the blue bike were one of's, the rear are new design, better than pauls.

  • not quite my bag but interesting take on things for those wanting a basket

    That is stupidly cool.

  • Nice. Would it be fair to say that bike has some sort of integral seat post/tube arrangement, or jnust my eyesight?

  • yeah its an ISP it appears to be the same bike as has been posted multiple times. Its nice though. Not sure I'd have gone for an ISP. Terrible idea imo, especially on an MTB where you most likely would want differing seat heights.

  • i personally think it's a ghastly bike. i love titanium and appreciate the amazing craftsmanship of it, but i'd rather have a stumpjumper any day:

  • I wonder where he get the brown double strap from? here's me hoping that it's not made by him.

It's not really a mountain bike, more of a tow path bike in that configuration.

  • Oh the sweet sweet curves

also looks like the mud guards aren't going anywhere

  • love this

  • that's lovely, shame the Bianchi Pista is now no longer a track=specific bike.

  • sign of the times I guess, I imagine most of them sold never go near a track.
Do you know when the chrome ones came out?

  • HAD to post this. Was out riding with Nasty last night (amongst others) He brought along one of the prettiest bikes I've ever seen. He's also got nearly all the parts to spec it up as full NJS (waiting on some tubs)

  • i saw the price on tokyofixedgear for njs certified soyo tubs
    quite cheap at 125GBP !!!!!

I have a habit of doing research on bicycle that I own, as far as I know, it was 2004 when they chrome it up, and the last one to use Reynolds steel before they went for the Tawianese alternative.

    It was 2005 when they introduced those 'retro' graphic (it even got Sugino RD crankset, only the 2005 model have it I think);

  • ed where does 520 fall as steels go ? is it rated well?

  • It's Reynolds' chromoly steel.
