therein lies the debate...i would happily have bike porn be full of bikes that are used 9 hours a day and polo bikes, I lust more for those than for pristine payday splurges.

or a dog with one leg.
i hope you mean a dog minus one leg. a one legged dog would be depressed/ing because it wouldn't be able to walk very easily

I think it is lush! It is more like the kinda fit girl next door than the fit Hollywood star. A bit more real.

I just dont get that a thread which usually contains comments like "machined rims on brakless looks stupid" "colours dont match" and "drop stem with riser....puke on cock" now has a picture of a rusty bike which has a worn saddle and rubbed down frame which people are loving because 'it has been used'. rust isnt 'functional' neither are polka dot cutouts on the dropouts or spoke cards.
maybe it hasnt been used by the current owner, maybe its really uncomfortably to ride, maybe the saddle is really shit and the grips slip, maybe its just been assembled in evans for a hipster who bought the parts (hes trying to look grungy-very 2009)
how do you know? you dont, but you 'love' it to be different. If someone does pay attention to their bike and buys expensive parts, that is now somehow bad because track bikes have become popular and perhaps even mainstream and you dont want to be part of that.

oh and used does not = functional

Like real porn, I guess there's all sorts. Whatever floats your boat. And dependent on your mood at the time. There's glossy high budget stuff, and then there's reader's crackwhore wife stuff.
Apparently. So I've been told.

it sounds like we need a separate thread... Bike Porn - Bikes-that-have-been-around-the-block-more-than-your-sister... or something like that.
I agree with Aleksi.

let look at this;
it's not the prettiest car ever, but people love it for simply how it ride, perform and handle.similar concept go to rat bike porn.
-
• #13120
shit, i also agree with fresh!
-
• #13121
ed, now you're scaring me
-
• #13122
yer dude that made no sense!
-
• #13123
noone loves the ride, handling or performance they love it for sentiment
-
• #13124
like I said, similar concept go to rat bike porn, the owner ride a track bike because he love how it handle on the street, he chosen the component purely for reliablitiy and comfort, despite the fact it's not the right one for that kind of bike, etc.

you also said "it's not the prettiest car ever, but people love it for simply how it ride, perform and handle." thats not the same
although fresh does talk sense
it can be an aesthetic thing for some people I guess but I understand what you mean Aleksi.. Is it on here more for how it looks or because it's functional?
