mmmm, alpaca, I might be heading off to Peru in the summer, should ask Kuna to make a cycling specific alpaca suit, they're cheap as chip over there.
do it , you wont regret it, get them to make the sleeves ever so slightly longer than you would normally have and maybe even with the possiblity of turning them up on the outside. three buttons on the front rather than two and shoulder seam pleat or centre back pleat. oh yeah and definitely lower rear vented

Love it, my kinda style, I have the exact same pedal setup funnily enough as well, works a treat.

The alpaca stuff you can find in London are shit, they felt more like wools than proper alpaca (which felt very soft and smooth, almost silk-like).
My girlfriend brought me a scarf made out of those, but it was the grey alpaca jumper that sold it, worn it for the tweed run with only a merino wool t-shirt underneath - perfect, not too hot and very breathable.

depending really, I may be there for a month, and already planned to go to Machi Picchu before the government closed it down (or something).

As I recall they did that because the law stated they need at least one working brake on a bicycle, so they did this in order to qualified, however, why stop there? they might as well go through the whole hog and put it on properly.
Hell, this look like an expensive champagnolo brake even!

If you're going to Peru, it'd be a shame not to take the opportunity to ride up/down this. A 118km descent would be fantastic.
True cycle route porn.
I am I weird because I want to ride up it?

I've just looked for this Moser on the above site, and can't find it.
Any hints, 'cause it's fairly similar to my frame that I'm trying to date. -
