Love it, my kinda style, I have the exact same pedal setup funnily enough as well, works a treat.

The alpaca stuff you can find in London are shit, they felt more like wools than proper alpaca (which felt very soft and smooth, almost silk-like).

My girlfriend brought me a scarf made out of those, but it was the grey alpaca jumper that sold it, worn it for the tweed run with only a merino wool t-shirt underneath - perfect, not too hot and very breathable.

depending really, I may be there for a month, and already planned to go to Machi Picchu before the government closed it down (or something).

As I recall they did that because the law stated they need at least one working brake on a bicycle, so they did this in order to qualified, however, why stop there? they might as well go through the whole hog and put it on properly.
