That has to be the pinnacle of wank

As I recall they did that because the law stated they need at least one working brake on a bicycle, so they did this in order to qualified, however, why stop there? they might as well go through the whole hog and put it on properly.
Hell, this look like an expensive champagnolo brake even!

Scroll up, dude!

Ah, didn't notice.

Two words. Photo Shop. At least on the mavic IO... the rest unfortunately looks to be genuine. Or maybe I'm just refusing to believe that it's happened. Wasn't this a sign of the cycle-pocalypse?

Are you sure? a good tell-tall sign is simply looking at the shadow.

Thats got to be a hinged brake lever, hasn't it ? otherwise maybe the bar roll is hiding something !!!!
-
• #11963
This actually makes me angry.
Spend £2000 on a front wheel, but only £60 on the cranks. Handlebars that are actually higher than the saddle. Rolled up jeans that conveniently show off a tattoo. Brake on the back so he can bar spin a Mavic iO. about 50 gear inches to really take advantage of the aeroness of the front wheel.
I am seething. -

it's all about showing off, is that really a surprise?

it's not the same person in the 2 pics is it? (might be too early for my eyes and brain to be connecting properly) the person riding the bike in the picture looks normal, where as the person sitting next to it in the pic looks like a fat kid..

Not sure why people get upset about someone's bike and the parts thereon. Its not to my taste. But if he wants a Mavic Io on his bike let him get on with it. We are all hipster twatts in someone else eyes. So live a let live, and get on with the ride.

But it's a tubular, that's the thing, the other wheels such as the HED 3 are out in clincher, tub must've been a nightmare if you pop your tyre!
At least the bloke who have the BMC Track did it up better.
