nice ride besides that.I'm with you... nice Bridgestone.
The thing that irks me about the IF is the seatmast (ok and the paintjob, the bars, and the wheels)... some day a person is likely to sell such a bike, and then fit will be a .

Is he pointing at blood on the road? He must be on Brixton Hill?!

I like his shoes - and pistanator - the NJS stamp doesn't really guarantee anything at all; all it guarantees is that it's exactly the same quality as all other parts stamped with NJS.

The items are all of the same standard AND passable(certified) therefore being at a sufficient level to race as oppose to using mickey mouse components

I thought it was a sign of strength as having parts failure during a race would not be good form when so much money is being gambled on each race.
Would have some very unhappy punters if the guy they backed lost because a hub collapsed. -

Well yeah the standard is pretty high, and for stuff like lockrings/cogs/cranks etc it's great for the street because of the strength, and their weight isn't really a drawback. But i'd always be cautious about frames, because they're raced hard before they're retired, and the metal is usually fairly thin. But then again they seem to survive fairly well.
Those european things that have been given the NJS stamp though, they're like peanut butter in a hot day on toast. Delicious to eat, but not so good to keep in the cupboard for a while, if you know what I mean!!124

its to keep all racers on an even keel so as that when they are racing there is no advantage over the bikes
so all gambling is down to the rider -

im not trying to cause bad feeling here.
But...what i think is that if you were to put a System x, Miche, (any good cheap hub) against an njs hub you'd find very little difference at all, except for the price, which is vastly different, especially for us europeans.
obviously i cannot prove this with empirical evidence, but seriously, what major difference can there be in a hub.
where's Mike Burrows when you need him ?
