That's a bit strong; it's just another modern bike that looks like all the other aero disc bikes. IMO it actually looks okay for one of those, except for the splash of red on the fork and the white seat

I dunno, that pink chainring looks like it's come straight off an Argos kids bike. Might be alright with a black one.

I call BS. Didn't give the cranks a massive spin after he put them on! Obvious amateur

Sir Cav's custom painted Willier.
Would ride.
Vision's font choice is questionable. -

Are miche chainrings porn now?

I hadn’t actually noticed the chainrings…
Why you would change the chainrings on. Duraace chainset is beyond me

That looks a bit like the 'FEA' paintjob from a Specialized about 10 years ago

Yeah it does, though I prefer the fade to black and paint splatter of the Willier.

Very nice!

Not sure I've seen a chromed fillet-brazed frame before, very striking.

They're aluminium: '80s sub 6.8kg long before that was a thing

Mesmerizing

Holy shit, they must be absolute noodles, especially the step-through. That light, without being oversized at all!
-
• #103796
I don't think he litterally meant sub 6.8kg
-
• #103797
I checked out the specs. The ladies bike is 6.9kg! Not bad for 1979.
I've heard that Sablière made some '80s builds around the 6.5kg mark, but have never seen them.

Ask @Gaston, he may be a great source of knowledge/informations

Émile Arbes, great collectionner with lots of ex-pro or rare bicycles.

mixte
Point of order - isn't a mixte the type of step-through that has a pair of stay-sized tubes instead of a top tube, which run all the way from the head tube past the seat tube down between the seatstays and chainstays? A more rigid design which addresses the flex normally associated with a much lower top tube at the cost of a little weight.

Yes.
Which makes me wonder, is there a name for the half marathon step through which has a single tube from headtube to seat tube supported by a pair of stays from that junction to the dropouts?

Yep, one for the anti-porn thread (though the ones earlier in the Giro were ok)
