So long story short it does look nice but doesn't hold up well?

Colnago with a curved seat tube is fire

Cromovelato is a clear tinted laquer over a chromed frame. It is very difficult as the laquer must be applied very evenly to get a uniform finish. They chip easily because of the chrome under the paint, and are near impossible to touch up.
It looks fantastic if done well.

Freschi was brilliant but not well known. I think he started out at Pogliaghi.
He sometimes put pulleys at the bottom bracket instead of cable tunnels for smoother shifting.
I have never seen a Rigi style one before.
