Why is the rider looking away?
Why is there a ghost under his wheel?Nakano is under the red line and expecting Singleton to come over him. Singleton goes under him while he's looking the other way, which explains why Nakano then drops into him and punts him off.
The ghost is of the chance that Singleton is ever going to stay up in a race with a noted ruffian like Nakano :)

Can’t help the overwhelming impression that the Nagasawa is a true jewel outshining all the other aspects of this brilliant photographs.

Why aren't the Canadian wheels matching!?
-
• #101589
Note Gordie is already bandaged up from the previous race.
Ooops had him mixed up with Curt Harnett there.

Why aren't the Canadian wheels matching!?
He probably had to change the front after Nakano took him out the first time.

If Nakano can’t beat Singleton by speed there’s only one way he can do it
Obviously wait for Singletons mistake.
Btw I think this documentary was made by the Canadians and not by the Japanese.

I think it's more the fact that the first race decision was annulled. That was a disgrace.
-
• #101596
Even if the decision was made different the outcome would be the same, am I right? He’d be granted a victory in the first run but loose the race in the 2nd (coz of displaced shoulder)?
-
• #101597
Nope, he turned Koichi into mashed Potatoe in the second race.
- he also should have been disqualified out right.

Arabesque came out a few years after Colnago stopped making good bikes.
