Richard Dawson is a genius. I can't actually comprehend how good his last two LP's have been.

Yeah, unbelievable. Been trying to get ahold of his old stuff (pre Magic Bridge) - some of it is on YouTube but it's hard to track down. Might email him. Ornithology is one of my favourites of the old ones - funny and sad in equal measure, which seems to be his forte.

Highly recommend seeing him live if you haven't already. Watching him belt out a 10-minute acapella song with no microphone to an enraptured audience blows my mind

Edit: actually can honestly say he might be the best live act I've ever seen personally
