that guy is a bit technical for my liking, bloody good rythym part though.
poor old stevie would have been an absolute killer guitarist (as if he could get any better) if he made it over that mountain. :(big loss
and a high5 to you

Have either of you listened to 'The Wham of that Memphis Man' or the album that SRV produced and played on with Lonie Mack.
They are both amazing.

Is there a stand out album?
-
• #1543
love oh love dude kicks a hole...
wiki...
At Howard University, Hutson shared a room with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donny_Hathaway and Philadelphia's Uptown Theater. The group released one single for Mayfield in 1967.
There, developing his creative talents, Hutson collaborated with Hathaway on “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ghetto”, giving the late recording star his first hit record in early 1970. -

Cas "Love Oh Love" is, as Shinscar says, a fine album (as "Gettin' It On" testifies).
But the killer Hutson album - absolutely no contest - is "Hutson". A soul masterpiece. The songs, the production, the hard, fat, loong drumbreaks. One of the best soul albums ever made. Leroy's on the cover with a massive brown fur coat and pimp cap, his lady snuggling to him. That's pretty much the vibe of the album.
I'm not going to put a clip up cos I think you should get the album, turn the lights low and check it out in its entirety. It's massive.....
