Purely out of interest; how do you rate good and bad with something so abstract?
What makes this track good or different to anything else in the genre?Well part of the answer to that question is that this track, and the album as a whole, doesn't sound so incredibly abstract to me. There's definite structure and some kind of musicality in there, and a clear idea that he's trying to express (obvious on the full album). There's a lot of noise like this that's, if perhaps not "composed" as such, at least "constructed" or something and I judge it just the same as I would anything else.
I could more easily understand you asking that question if I posted something like this
and the answer is that there's definitely "bad", when it's just too static and boring, or too predictable if you're used to noise, or (unintentionally) shittily made, and sometimes there's "good", when there's a particularly interesting combination/sequence of noises or something that sound really truly unpleasant, but a lot of it is basically the same and I like it because I like noise as a whole. Bear in mind most of it is improvisation and I'd much rather see it live if I can. Also I have started many arguments by asking the same thing about [insert traditional genre of music] and sometimes I mean it. Especially with the genre of people with guitars singing about emotions.

Just heard this on a mixtape by a favourite DJ, Claude Young. Was trackstanding at the lights and found myself involuntarily bouncing along in time singing to myself.

repped.
Although the only circumstances I can stick with it is on a long car journey alone.
Worth it though. -

It is a shame there are so few recordings of the amazing DeZurik sisters that survive
This is my favourite though:-
