I think its good,
The lugs and tubing are good
geoff roberts, used to make frames in the 80's and is the brother of chas roberts
The reason the bike looks as if it has had a cheap respray is that it probably has
,mine still has its orginal paintwork (neon orange to white fade, not to everyones taste)
Its a very tight frame and will not have a brake drilling though so be prepared to get a new fork or ride brakeless.
I am happy with mine
oh and i am 6 foot and ride a 54 cm frame and it fits good -

aaah well.. fuck ebay.. all the time the price is rising on the last seconds (everyone knows auctionsniper.com).
i called a friend of mine and he was saying that the hubs weren't the best but definitely not the worst.

54 seems small but different horses....

i think it definitely matters what size frame you ride, if you mess about with the seatpost and stem to get a small frame to fit then you are not riding the geometry of the frame. you need your size.
there was a really good picture with annotations on the internet a while ago that showed a messenger riding a track frame that was maybe 2cms too small and it drew over what the bike should look like in his size, was interesting. shame i can't find it.
but yeh, horses etc.
-
• #9649
I know what you mean, the frame is 54 c-c the top tube and the head tubes are pretty long.
I guess i just have always preferred riding smaller bikes.
